Behind every great love is a great comedy.

Seattle Experimental Theater is proud to present The Journal, a fully improvised romantic story based on the works of Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook, Dear John, The Lucky One). The Journal creates a different romantic tale every night, based on audience suggestions. Each performance features an original, unscripted story about small-town lovers who must confront bad choices, learn the true meaning of love and, of course, kiss in the rain. Will our lovers stay together or break up? The audience will decide.
